This is the sixth album (released in 1993) by Holger Schukai, formerly of KAN, and his first original album in six years since "Rome Remains Rome" in 1987. It is a dark ambient album with an introspective mood, which is rare for Shukai. It can be said to be a further development of the two collaborative albums with David Sylvian, or an update of the ideas of Shukai's first solo album "Kanaxis 5". The closing number "Sentimental," which is somewhat sentimental as the title suggests and runs over 20 minutes, features Yaki Liebzeit (ds) and Michael Karoly (g), both ex-Kan. Jah Wobble (b), formerly of PIL, and his partner Ushi, who would later produce an album jointly with Shukai, also participate. Although not pop, this is a very tasteful work.
