Since September 2005, he has taught in the flute department at the Vienna Conservatory (Private University of Music). He also served as principal flutist with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra from 2005 to 2011 and with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra from 2000 to 2004.\nHe studied with Eva Amsler in Feldkirch (Austria), with Aurèle Nicolet in Basel (Switzerland), and with Philippe Bernold at the National Conservatory of Music in Lyon (France).\nAs a soloist, he has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony, the Akademie Kammerorchester, and the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of conductors including Daniel Barenboim, Fabio Luisi, Jakov Kreizberg, and Sir Neville Marriner.
