The "Bungo Stray Dogs" series has sold more than 8 million copies in total, and the third season of the TV anime and the movie have been released. The first stage production of "Bungo Stray Dogs" was staged in 2017 based on an episode from the first season of the TV anime. The show received a great response every day and all seats were sold out. Following the first stage production, the "Black Age" episode, which is a fan favorite, will be adapted for the stage in 2018, and in 2019, the scale of the performance will be greatly expanded to include a total cast and ensemble of 32 members to battle the "Guild" in five cities across Japan. In 2020, "Hashigaki" will feature two stories based on the novels "Bungo Stray Dogs: The Secret Story of the Founding of the Detective Agency" and "Bungo Stray Dogs: Osamu Dazai's Entrance Test," which will be performed simultaneously and streamed live. Both performances ended with great success.And this fourth production is a stage adaptation of the movie "Bungo Stray Dogs DEAD APPLE," which was released in theaters in 2018 and was a huge hit. The stage "Bungo Stray Dogs DEAD APPLE" will be spun by a familiar popular cast and a new cast. The play will be directed by Nakayashiki Norihito, who has directed the "Bungo Stray Dogs" stage series, and written by Asagiri Kafka, the author of the original "Bungo Stray Dogs" novel! The cast includes Hiroki Torigoe, Shohei Hashimoto, Sakina Kuwae, and Keisuke Ueda, all of whom have appeared in the "Bungo Stray Dogs" stage series. In addition, new faces such as Risei Tabuchi as Osamu Dazai, Yuta Kishimoto as Fyodor D., and Mitsuru Murata as Tatsuhiko Shibusawa will take on the new production. The Blu-ray and DVD will include popular backstage footage as a video bonus! The Blu-ray and DVD will include must-see video extras for fans, such as photo shoots, rehearsals, backstage during the performance, off-shot footage of the popular cast members, and the process of creating the piece!
