He graduated from the Faculty of Music (Composition) at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1970 and completed his graduate studies in composition at the same university in 1974. He studied under Yujiro Ikeuchi, Akio Yashiro, and Teizo Matsumura. In 1977, he helped found the contemporary music group “Ensemble Van Dorián” (winner of the 1st Kenzo Nakajima Award), serving as composer, producer, and conductor. Until 1985, he worked to introduce numerous contemporary works both in Japan and abroad. In 1979, he traveled to Europe as an artist dispatched overseas by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, underwent training in France, and returned to Japan the following year. His music consists of melodies, themes, or even finer particles, each possessing its own color; they come together and disperse, at times forming lines or clusters, multiplying like cells while changing color with each shift, and continuing as they repeatedly expand and contract like a nebula.\nFontec\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Fontec","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53595502051617,"sku":"4988065025144","price":2670.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4988065025144.jpg?v=1790481380","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4988065025144","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
