The roots of the Ultraman series, "Ultra Q", is now available in 4K UHD! The new project "ULTRAMAN ARCHIVES" will spotlight the many Ultraman series films of the past and convey their new appeal in various forms, including videos, publications, and commercial products that combine materials from the time, testimonies from those involved in their production, and critiques from outside experts and perspectives unique to the present day. This project is designed to convey the appeal of the films in a new and deeper way, and to allow those who have never seen the films to enjoy them to the fullest extent. Ultra Q" (1966), the tokusatsu TV drama that became the origin of the Ultraman series, with a total of 28 episodes broadcast from January 2, 1966, will be revived in the highest picture quality using the latest 4K HDR technology! This special effects science fiction drama depicts the mysterious incidents that the three main characters, Jun Manjome (pilot of Hoshikawa Airlines), Ippei Togawa (assistant pilot), and Yuriko Edogawa (news cameraman of Mainichi Shimpo), encounter each time. In addition, "TSUBURAYA MovieNEX," a service that allows viewers to enjoy the full-length movie anytime, anywhere via streaming, is also newly available! TSUBURAYA MovieNEX World" will also start distributing bonus videos and text media only available here, in addition to the full-length movie. *This 10-disc set includes 3 UHDBlu-ray and 7 Blu-ray discs. UHDBlu-ray contains the feature film in B&W, and Blu-ray contains the feature film in color and B&W plus PremiumTalk. 4K ULTRA HD cannot be played on conventional Blu-ray and DVD equipment. Recorders (or players) compatible with the ULTRA HD Blu-ray standard are required to play this content. HDR-compatible 4K TVs (or projectors) are required to enjoy HDR. 4K TVs that do not support HDR and HDTVs can also be used for viewing, but in these cases, the color gamut will be SDR (conventional color gamut).
