The 1913 premiere of the ballet *The Rite of Spring*—a masterpiece of 20th-century modern music—was nothing short of a “scandal.” This historically significant piece sparked a storm of boos and even escalated into a brawl between supporters and opponents.\n\n“The Tale of Prince Kalandar” is the second movement of the symphonic suite *Scheherazade*. Composed in 1888, it was performed by the Ballets Russes in 1910. This piece is also presented in the composer’s own version for two pianos.\n\n“La Valse” is a famous masterpiece composed by Ravel.
