Yoon-Chang Lim is a treasure of the Korean piano world, and his debut album is scheduled for release on KBS in 2020! Yoon-Chang Lim is a new star in the piano world. In 2018, the year after he entered the Korea Academy for Gifted Artists, he won the second prize and the Chopin Special Prize at the Cleveland International Piano Competition, and the third prize and the Audience Prize at the Cooper International Competition as the youngest winner. The following year, in 2019, at the age of 15, he won three awards: the youngest first prize at the Yi Sang Yun International Music Competition, the UNESCO Special Prize for Creative Cities of Music (Audience Prize), and the Park Sung Young Special Prize for Gifted and Talented. He has been highly acclaimed for his talent even before he won the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. One of the heroes of the Korean classical music world, Lim Yoon-Chang's debut album is Beethoven's "Moonlight" and Liszt's "Pilgrimage Year 2: Italy," recorded by KBS (Korea Broadcasting System) in 2020.The audacity of choosing two works for the program of his debut album, "Moonlight" by Gakusei, a masterpiece among masterpieces, and "The Second Year of the Pilgrimage" by Liszt, which includes the famous difficult piece "Reading Dante," shows that he was already a world-class musician.
