In 2013, he became Daniel Barenboim’s first assistant at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and in 2019, he was appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. Starting with the 2021–2022 season, Indoyan was appointed Maestro of the RLPO—his first position as principal conductor—and at the BBC Proms in September 2021 (which marked Indoyan’s Proms debut as a conductor and served as a concert commemorating his appointment to the RLPO), his performance of *“miraculous,”* “atriumphforallconcerned” (Seen and Heard International, 2021) to rave reviews. In Japan, he participated in the Pacific Music Festival Sapporo (PMF) as a student at the Violin Academy (2003, 2004) and appeared as a guest conductor in 2014.
