Please look forward to it!\n\nMartin Stegner began learning the violin from his father at the age of eight and switched to the viola after studying under Roman Nödel at the Mannheim University of Music.\nAfter studying with Nacht hard Lesser and Wilfried Streler at the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra Academy, he joined the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin as principal violist in 1993. Three years later, he moved to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, where he remains to this day.\nStegner, who is also a co-founder of the Berlin Philharmonic Jazz Group, established Ensemble Bolero Berlin in 2008.
