Bach performed by Roel Deeltiens!\n\nThe musical journey of the 18th Century Orchestra, a pioneer among period orchestras now entering the “post-Brüchens era.” Their fourth recording features a collection of C.P.E. Bach’s cello concertos, performed with the renowned Belgian cellist Roel Deeltiens. Roel Deeltiens, an authority on both modern and Baroque cello, enjoys the deep trust of conductors such as Brüggen, Helleweg, De Leeuw, and Pons, and is also known for his numerous recordings with “Ensemble Exploration,” which he founded.\n\nKarl Philipp Emanuel Bach, the second son and the most successful musician among J.S. Bach’s sons, was a composer who bridged the transition from the Baroque to the Classical period and had a profound influence on Mozart and Beethoven through his sonatas for keyboard instruments. In the 18th century, the “cello concerto” was still a new genre, and these cello concertos by C.P.E. Bach (1750–1753) were composed before Boccherini and Haydn wrote their own cello concertos. Brügghen’s 18th-century orchestral sound, combined with Deeltiens’s eloquent cello playing, weaves a captivating and multifaceted narrative. Anna Enquist, a popular Dutch novelist and longtime friend of Brüggen, visited the recording sessions and contributed an explanatory essay.\nTokyo M Plus\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Glossa","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53525306540321,"sku":"4947182113370","price":3143.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4947182113370.jpg?v=1789730748","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4947182113370","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
