During his studies, he also traveled to Cordoba, Spain, where he learned to play flamenco guitar, founded the first flamenco guitar festival in Athens, and developed an interest in music other than classical. He currently works as a guitarist and composer. The \"Flamenco Odyssey\" is one of Tzifakis' masterpieces, in which he plays improvised guitar in the style of blues and rock, and invites the listener to enjoy a taste of Eastern and Western culture in each piece, using a variety of percussion instruments, including hand claps, and even electronics, while listening to the flamenco rhythms of bulerias, soleá, fandangos, and more.
