No. 1 is about \"Nohe Khan,\" a tenor singer active in traditional Iranian ceremonies, whose voice is imitated on the violin as they sing in religious ceremonies, and is made into a brilliant concerto with orchestra. No. 2 is a short symphonic poem, and sings of a mother's grief over the loss of her child. No. 3 is a prayer landscape of innocent children.
