He made his debut at the age of 12 and is a rising star who has given recitals throughout Europe, as well as in South Korea and New Zealand. Starting with his prize at the 2007 Aldo Pariso International Competition, he went on to win prizes at the 2008 Naumburg Foundation Competition and the 2009 Adam International Cello Competition. On this album, he performs a series of cello works by Hindemith, whose 50th anniversary of his death was observed in 2013. In the early “Three Pieces,” he evokes a lyricism reminiscent of Schumann while also skillfully capturing the underlying irony that peeks through at every turn. The Variations and Cello Sonata—known for their unique titles—are a true explosion of Hindemith’s (1895–1963) signature style. It is intense music. One cannot help but marvel at Jurt’s performance, which masterfully captures this ever-changing music.\nNaxos Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Naxos","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53595533541665,"sku":"4945604731720","price":2690.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4945604731720.jpg?v=1790481526","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4945604731720","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
