However, his activities were exclusively in France, where he was greatly influenced by the artists he met in Paris, and he was so integrated into the local community that he was even invited to join the \"Gang of Six\" at one point. However, because of his Jewish heritage, he was forced to flee to the United States in 1941, and when he returned to Paris after the war, he was already behind the times and began researching Polish music again, an interesting transition. This album features piano pieces in a variety of styles that reflect his many influences and resonances. The \"Suite,\" written in the neo-baroque style, is more a fashionable piece than a personal confession. The \"Arabesques\" are a series of pieces with poetic content. The nocturne is more Scriabin than Chopin. The \"Five Impressions\" is closer to the neoclassical style than to the Romantic, the \"Three Ballades\" have a tragic aspect that could be described as Tansmann's inner voice, and the \"Eight Songs\" dedicated to Rubinstein is a tribute to Bach. And \"Eight Songs,\" dedicated to Rubinstein, is a tribute to Bach. I wonder where his spiritual homeland was.
