He also started a successful music publishing company to publish Haydn's scores, which eventually led to the establishment of a piano production company. His talent can be fully appreciated in the two symphonies heard here. His only flute concerto, in C major, is also a work of sparkling beauty. The virtuoso conductor Gallois has recently been active as a conductor, but here he plays the flute without complaint.
