I believe you will immediately appreciate the magnitude of his achievements in this field upon listening to this album. He began composing this “Aeneas of Carthage” for the opening of Stockholm’s new opera house, which was established in 1781, but However, due to a sudden mishap—in which a prima donna, burdened by debt, fled Sweden with her husband, the orchestra’s concertmaster—Klaus himself continually revised and refined the work, resulting in a delay of ten years before its premiere in 1791. It is a work into which he poured his heart and soul. Galois, now a renowned conductor, delivers a masterful performance that has cemented the work’s reputation.
Naxos Japan

Tracklisting:

1.Aeneas In Carthage: Prologue, Overture
2.Aeneas In Carthage: Prologue.
