The album title, “Playground,” reflects a content where their talents, techniques, and ideas fly back and forth freely, as if they have fully explored the possibilities of their duo.\nThe album opens with “Frevo,” a number by Egberto Gismonti. It’s a track brimming with intellectual playfulness—complete with effects and sampling—that perfectly captures the duo’s style. “Lonely Supamen” features Bertol’s outstanding scat singing. \"New World\" is a grand, meticulously crafted track based on a Björk song from the film \"Dancer in the Dark,\" featuring extensive use of overdubs. And closing the album is \"Para Hermeto,\" written by Herboeck as a tribute to Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal.
