In response to requests for a reissue, the standard edition is now available~\n●An expanded edition of the 1966 masterpiece album *Aftermath* is now available!\n●Features a remastered version of the original UK mono mix from the vintage master\n● Includes additional related tracks, previously unreleased songs, sessions, and outtakes\n\nAn expanded edition of The Rolling Stones’ 1966 masterpiece album *Aftermath* is now available.\nIn addition to the latest audio recordings of the entire album—faithfully remastered from the vintage masters—it features related tracks, sessions, and outtakes.\n\nDuring the fall of 1965, while on their fourth U.S. tour, the band recorded at RCA Studios, resulting in about ten original songs.\nThey immediately announced the album as *Could You Walk on the Water?*, but the title sparked controversy, and the album was never released. Consequently, in March of the following year, they recorded new tracks—“Under My Thumb,” “Lady Jane,” “Paint It Black,” and “Out of Time”—to complete the album *Aftermath*.\nThis was the first album by the Rolling Stones—who had become the second-most popular British band after the Beatles thanks to back-to-back hits like “Satisfaction” and “A World All to Myself”—to consist entirely of original songs.\nBrian, the band’s founding leader, played a variety of instruments—including the sitar and marimba—adding color to the songs written by Jagger and Richards.\nThis album laid the foundation for the mid-period Stones sound that would later flourish.\nIn particular, the original UK edition, featuring all 14 tracks, became an unprecedentedly long album at 53 minutes.\nHowever, it was released two months before the U.S. version, and the UK version—which should have been the original—suffered the misfortune of being discontinued in 1997 when the ABKCO remaster became the global standard. For true fans, the UK edition, released in accordance with the band’s wishes, is the definitive version.\n\nDetailed Japanese liner notes covering the circumstances at the time, behind-the-scenes stories, and track listings.\n★Product licensed by the Japan Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC)\n★Cover art features licensed photographs from Getty Images Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Eternal Grooves","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53484268519713,"sku":"4589767514624","price":3740.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/2222222222222_b2c03d31-caa1-441b-81f8-fc55a90203a8.jpg?v=1789032745","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4589767514624","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
