Furthermore, the album includes “Adieu Maison,” written for the renowned actress Yvonne Plantin, who starred in the film, as well as Departure for the Isle of Cythera, composed around the same time as the film. Also featured is Elegy, a masterpiece from his later years in which the melody is delicately passed back and forth between the two pianos.
