Tūrs' work was composed with a button accordion in mind, making it extremely challenging for Sidorova to perform on her keyboard accordion. The piece progresses with the orchestra and accordion exchanging phrases, showcasing Tūrs' signature style with hints of progressive rock influence. Kõrvits' work was written specifically for Sidorova, and this recording captures its world premiere. At Sidorow's suggestion, various special playing techniques were incorporated, emphasizing the accordion's role as an accompaniment instrument for dance. The Fruit of Silence, arranged by British conductor and arranger Morton from a work for choir and piano written by Latvian Vasks based on the words of Mother Teresa, is a truly beautiful piece reminiscent of Arvo Pärt.This album represents the culmination of over a decade of artistic collaboration between Sidorow and Järvi.
