Before and after each sermon, a cantata was played, and at the end of the program, an excerpt from a work that was to be performed in the future was presented, giving the audience great anticipation for the next concert. This performance by the Hamburg Ratsmusik recreates the historic inauguration ceremony. Eckert, who also serves as conductor, plays four pieces from the \"12 Fantasias\" on viola da gamba to accompany the cantata.
