Included in his posthumous collection, these pieces—though small in scale—are characterized by complex harmonies and subtle expression; they are in no way inferior to his large-scale works and each possesses a captivating character.\nIn this recording, Carsten Wiebusch performs not only the 12 major works but also pieces for the harmonium—such as *The Organist*—on a standard organ.
