Just as many performers were beginning to take up his works, his sudden passing in 2020 has drawn renewed attention to his highly original compositions.\nProduced to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Greff’s birth, this album features live recordings of two works performed by young musicians at the 25th Deauville Easter Festival, as well as an archival recording from the 1998 edition of the same festival, in which the composer himself played the piano and with Stefan Gents singing. Additionally, the “Symphony for Voice” is conducted by the acclaimed conductor Dumso.
