In particular, “Three Songs on Poems by Robert Bridge” and “The Triumph of Love” are world premiere recordings.\nOther tracks include “Songs of Faith” based on poems by Walt Whitman and the uniquely melodic “Nonsense Poems,” based on poems by Edward Lear—which became his final work. In every piece, the beautiful words woven by British poets are skillfully woven into romantic music.
