For this production, three internationally acclaimed singers—Cheneze from the U.S., David DQ from Canada, and Egorov from Russia—were cast, effectively conveying the rich atmosphere of the world from the very beginning, starting with a prologue that makes effective use of the accordion. Although all three are countertenors, their different vocal timbres allow them to successfully distinguish the sisters’ personalities.
