In 2001, however, he was selected as a composer by the British Society for the Promotion of New Music, and his works are finally being performed and recorded more often. This album is his third collection of orchestral works. Unlike the first (TOCC-393) and second (TOCC-452) collections, which mainly contained symphonic works, this album mainly consists of four small pieces. All of them are lyrical works, and the Symphony No. 15, inspired by natural scenery, is written in the same taste.
