Although he also showed talent as a lawyer, he devoted himself to music, and for a time was a brilliant colleague of J.S. Bach. Heinichen also left many works as a composer, but unfortunately, after his death, his works have gone largely unnoticed. The \"Flavio Crispo\" has been in storage for about 300 years without being performed for the first time. There are various reasons why the work was never premiered, such as the lack of Italian singers and the tensions that arose during rehearsals, but they do not detract from the value of the work itself. The delicate use of the various instruments and the skill of the singers, including Marbach, who sings the main role of Elena, make this an undiscovered \"baroque opera\" that is full of attractions.
