The Italian composer Corelli was also widely popular, and his arrangements of his works were also published and well received. This disc features a collection of such arrangements by Corelli. Marco Scorticati, born in Milan in 1980, is the son of Giovanni Antonini, Walter van Hauwe, and others. Marco Scorticati, born in Milan in 1980, studied recorder with Giovanni Antonini, Walter van Hauwe, and others, and is an active recorder player mainly with Estro Cromatico, which he formed with his close friend Davide Pozzi. He has participated in the Accademia Bisancina, Europa Galante, Il Giardino armonico, etc., and has taught at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia and other conservatories. In this album, he uses a bass accompaniment that adds variety to the otherwise flat expression of the recorder and makes it a joy to play.
