This is a substantial project that focuses on the field of cantatils (small cantatas) from the French 18th century, which are surprisingly little recorded, and also includes a number of relatively large-scale cantatos (French cantatas) that can be considered prehistory of the field. The solo singer is the talented Zaissik, who has already made his mark with Le Poème Armonique and Christophe Lese's Les Tarrands Liliques. ...... The instrumentalists include Anna Besson, who has been attracting attention for her collaboration with Jean Rondeau, and Lucille Boulanger, who supports the bass lineup of Pygmalion. This is a disc that allows you to enjoy the true essence of Alpha and the vitality of France's front-line classical music scene.
