Joubert-Caillès, who is currently recording the complete works of Marin Marais with the full confidence of the head of the Ricercar label, has recorded the complete *Six Sonatas*—composed in the French suite style with both the viola da gamba and the violin given leading roles—alongside an outstanding ensemble.
