Suite No. 5, which includes \"The Well-Tempered Blacksmith\" in the final movement, is one of the most popular of Handel's works. The album was recorded on Brook Street in London, in a building now preserved as the Handel Museum. This was Handel's home from 1723 to 1759, and it is likely that this piece was performed many times in front of many guests. Cummings adds liberal embellishments, making for a delightful performance.
