His father was a renowned violinist, and he spent his childhood surrounded by world-renowned musicians, and he has used this experience to compose many unique works. This second collection of his orchestral works, following the first (TOCC-424), includes four works, including his only \"symphony,\" performed by conductor Walker, who also has an interesting recording on NAXOS. The symphony opens with the sound of chaos, and as the movement progresses, various musical ideas intermingle, keeping the listener on the edge of their seats. Other works on the disc include the powerful and humorous \"Scherzoide,\" the jazz-tinged \"Introduction, Cakewalk and Allegro,\" and the \"Concerto Rhapsody,\" which is as intense and frenetic as the title suggests.
