Tokyo Blade

Description:

TOKYO BLADE, an important band of N.W.O.B.H.M., has a new album that shows they are alive and well since "Fury" in 2022! In 1983, amidst the heavy metal whirlwind in the U.K., the band released their debut album "Tokyo Blade" under the name of TOKYO BLADE, which was a great success, followed by the masterpiece second album "Night Of The Blade", which caught the attention of the scene. However, by the time they released their third album, the N.W.O.B.H.M. boom had come to an end, with the exception of a few major bands that had made great strides, and after a number of twists and turns, including member changes and straying from their original lineup, the band temporarily ceased operations in 1998.However, in 2007, the band was restarted with four original members, led by guitarist Andy Boulton, and released a new album "Thousand Men Strong" with new vocals in 2011, making a full return to the scene, followed by the return of original vocalist Alan Marsh returned to the scene, and with the same complete lineup as in their heyday in the '80s, the band has continued to release albums consistently, including "Unbroken" in 2018, "Dark Revolution" in 2020, and "Fury" in 2022.In 2025, the band will release its 11th album (not including 1987's "Ain't Misbehavin....." and 1989's "No Remorse"), "Time Is The Fire". Alan, Andy, John Wiggins (g), Andy Leighton (b), and Steve Pearce (dr), the five members of the band, will complete the new album "Time Is The Fire" in 2025, the 11th album in total (not including "Ain't Misbehavin" from 1987 and "No Remorse" from 1989)! The band is still pounding out the same old British Heavy Metal after 40 years! Alan's vocals and the twin guitars of Andy and John have not diminished at all, making this a masterpiece filled with the brilliance of a great sword! Includes liner/ lyrics and translation.
