Continuing from the previous album, Bu’s regular members—Tetsuro Fujimaki (drums) and Masanori Hattori (double bass)—along with violinist Akiko Igaki, have reunited once again. With guitarist Kōta Yamauchi joining the lineup, the five-piece band began recording by the lakeside in Ōgaki City, Gifu Prefecture, with sound artist Takashi Higashi—known for pioneering new frontiers in field recording—serving as engineer. The project later incorporated guitar and ukulele by Yoshiki Sakurai, and was further enriched with three intimate tracks recorded at Uki’s home with Yūki Furukawa, culminating in a major work featuring a total of 13 tracks.
