Debut album by the cult singer-songwriter who continues to radiate her bewitching charm! The debut album by Peter Ivers, a singer/songwriter/harpist widely known for his work on David Lynch's film "Eraserhead" and still influencing many followers today, is the debut album by Dave Lambert & Jon Hendricks and the band "Lambert, Hendricks & Ivers". It was released on EPIC in 1969 under the name of the band featuring Sri Lankan jazz singer Yolande Bavan, who had performed as Lambert, Hendricks & Bavan, as the vocalist. The sound, created by a group of talented musicians active in the jazz and classical fields, was extremely different, original, and free in the rock scene of the time, and like the works of Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart, it has continued to exert a bewitching allure from the time of its release until the present day. The sound of the album is very different, original, and free in the rock scene at that time. Bonus tracks include additional songs that Yolande Bavin released as solo singles before this album.
