However, the band never found success in either the UK or Ireland, and they were only active as The Other Zem for about six months, dragging out the confusion over the use of the name Zem. Overseas, the band would break up after only four months under the Zem name, mainly in Denmark and Sweden. Belfast Gypsies was the name the label had given the band.
