The opening track, "How Can I Explain," is a melancholy slow song with an electric piano that shows off the singer's ability as a singer.M-2 is a masculine funk tune with the chorus repeating the theme and the guitar playing all over the place, M-3 is a funky funk tune with the drums hitting the spacey synths without hesitation, edgy clean tones and phase-shifting double guitar cutting attack, M-4 is a slightly comical P-Funk-flavored instrumental, M-5 is a solid funk tune with a chugging vocal and chopper bass, and M-6 is a slightly more innocent(?) funk tune with a little bit of a funk feel. The song is a little bit comical P-Funk flavored instrumental M-4, a solid funk M-5 with rumbling vocals and chopper bass, and a little bit more sophisticated (?) blue eyed soul-like M-5. M-6 with a pleasant sense of lightness and speed like Blue Eyed Soul, M-7 with a mellow intro and then the chopper again and a funk with a crab legs, and the last ballad bursting with sadness with a sobbing bass line and crying synths.
