Released on Blanco y Negro, a new Warner Bros. label co-founded by Mike Allway and Jeff Travis (founder of Rough Trade), this album marked their transition from the indie scene to the major label circuit. The single “Each \u0026amp; Every One” reached the UK Top 30 and sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.\n\nBen’s meticulous and delicate playing, infused with elements of jazz and bossa nova, blends with Tracy’s beautiful yet melancholic vocals to create a rich, three-dimensional harmony.\nIn addition to demo versions of the tracks, this Japanese edition features rare songs originally included on the A- and B-sides of the singles—such as “Never Could Have Been Worth It,” with its Johnny Marr-esque guitar work—as well as a cover of Paul Weller’s “English Rose,” marking its first-ever inclusion on a Japanese release.
