She worked as a piano instructor at the Tokyo Conservatory Shobi until 1991. In 1984, she performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Shinsei Japan Symphony Orchestra. She began giving solo recitals in 1992 and, in 1994, performed Ravel’s Piano Concerto with the Ars Chamber Orchestra. In September 1996, she held the first installment of the “The Joy of Piano Solo and Chamber Music” series at the Casals Hall in Tokyo. The series was well-received, and she has continued to present it, holding the 16th installment in 2018.
