Bico's Music is proud to announce the release of the latest chapter in the "Shaolin Soul" series of Wu-Tang-inspired vintage soul compilations supervised by Parisian deep digger "Uncle O," who is revered by many of his hometown musicians, including Selone, Daft Punk and Ed Banger. release! Covering a wide range of eras from deep and northern to 80's, this compilation is a concentrated collection of juicy original material from breaks and samplings across labels! Rare songs and classic songs are all here, in a variety of colors. This all-encompassing feeling may not be so common in this kind of genre, where classifications are well established. A nice selection that I highly recommend to beginners! Chaoline Soul" is a popular French compilation series supervised by Parisian genius Uncle Au, a designer who has created jackets for the likes of Célone and Cassius, and is also known as a "super" deep record collector. The first compilation was released by Virgin France in 1998. The second (2001) and third (2014) releases have followed at their own pace. The title is of course inspired by the Wu-Tang Clan. This is a nice soul compilation that concentrates all the juicy original material of breaks and sampling across labels.The album covers a wide range of genres, from deep and northern to 80's, and is perfect as an introduction for beginners. The laid-back atmosphere that allows for leisurely room listening is also nice! For those of you who have come to Soul through the neo-vintage music of Amy Winehouse, Mayer Hawthorne, and others, this is for you!
