Everything is Recorded is a collaborative project spearheaded by XL Recordings' general manager and producer Richard Russell. The album features a wide range of guests, from Kamasi Washington and Sampha to Sid and Ibey of The Internet, as well as Damon Albarn and Peter Gabriel, and was nominated for a Mercury Prize that year and won second place in the Rough Trade Shop's best album of the year. Following their debut album "Everything Is Recorded", which was nominated for a Mercury Prize and ranked as the second best album of the year at the Rough Trade Shop, the band's second album in two years is now complete! As with the previous album, almost all of the songs were recorded at Russell's Copper House studio in London, and this time around, the band has realized dream collaborations with both talented up-and-coming artists and recognized veterans.The debut album features R&B singer Infinite Coles, a model and dancer who also participated on the debut album; Aitch, a rising star in the UK grime scene whom Stormzy has taken notice of; poetry rapper James Massiah, who has been featured on Massive Attack; Maria Somerville, a female artist who has attracted attention for her ethereal ambient drone/psychedelic folk; and A.K. Paul, who has contributed songs to the likes of Sam Smith and Jessie Ware. Aitch, a rising star in the UK grime world who has been spotted by Aitch, poetry rapper James Mascia, featured on Massive Attack, Maria Somerville, a female artist who is gaining attention for her ambient drone/psychedelic folk, A.K. Paul, who has contributed songs to Sam Smith and Jessie Ware, and Penny Rambo, a charismatic and popular band from the class of Ghostface Killer and other UK punk legends. Penny Rambo and more.
