In reissuing, sometimes an improvement in sound quality leads to an increase in the degree of performance. This has been the case with Furtwängler, Walter, and others in the past, but perhaps no conductor fits this description more perfectly than Schuricht. The original Concert Hall Society LP disc used for the reissue of the Bruckner No. 7 with the Hague Philharmonic Orchestra sounded brand new, and I think it is now possible to question the true value of this performance with greater accuracy. The brass chorale, in particular, sounded divine, and I was honestly surprised. In the liner notes of this record, it is mentioned that prior to the recording, the brass section of the Hague Philharmonic was brought together for a special training session, and I think this sound proves it. We have attempted to reissue this recording faithfully in order to share this excitement with you. We hope you will give it a listen. Please note that there is a very small noise peculiar to early recordings.(Otaken Records, Kenshi Ota) Tobu Land System\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Otaken Records","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48113787601185,"sku":"4573279823626","price":2690.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4573279823626.jpg?v=1708413296","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4573279823626","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
