Based on the children's novel "Yugana Nichijo in the Apartment of Yokai" by Hiwa Kozuki, which won the 51st Sankei Juvenile Literature Publishing Culture Award Fuji Television Award in 2004, this blockbuster novel is sure to make you laugh, cry, and fall in love with its humorous story and charming characters. The story is full of humanity, and you will surely fall in love with the fascinating characters. Anime fans are drooling! A super-luxurious lineup of popular voice actors! Atsushi Abe plays the main character, Yushi Inaba. Yuichi Nakamura plays the role of Yushi's best friend, Izutaka Hase. In addition, a group of super-luxurious and popular voice actors such as Akira Ishida, Miyuki Sawashiro, Kazuya Nakai, Tomoyuki Morikawa, Tomokazu Sugita, Rie Kugimiya, and Takehito Koyasu enthusiastically perform the attractive characters full of personality. The production staff is a group of talented individuals. The director is Mitsuo Hashimoto. The series composition is by Yasutomo Yamada and character design by Tomomi Shimazaki. Animation production is handled by Shin-Ei Animation, known for its work on "Doraemon" and "Crayon Shin-chan. The sophisticated music enlivens the world of the film. The edgy and exhilarating up-tune opening theme is "Good Night Mare" by Rosalina, which was written specifically for the anime.The funky ending theme, "Nikkensetsu Broken down," sung by Atsushi Abe as Yushi Inaba and Yuichi Nakamura as Izutaka Hase, was written by Q-MHz, a production team consisting of Aki Hata, Tomokazu Tashiro, Katsuhiko Kurosu and Tomoya Tabuchi.
