Three years have passed since the masterpiece "Regina". Becca Stevens' evolution continues, and her instincts as an artist have led her to seek even more creative sounds in her latest work. The title "Wonderbloom" was inspired by the "Titan Arum," a giant flower that grows wild in subtropical rainforests and blooms only once every few years, and only for about two days. The song is a metaphor for the power of the giant flower, the ephemeral nature of the short blooming time, and the strong smell of decay, and it is from this that Becca's powerful new world was derived. Produced, arranged, and mixed by Becca and Nick Hurd, who has engineered and produced sound production for Snarky Puppy and Bocante. The melodies, voice control, and chorus work of Becca's own voice are maintained, but the bass rhythms and timbres have been greatly updated with programming this time around.Participating artists include Jacob Collier, Devid Crosby, Corey Wong (VULFPECK), and a large contingent from Snarky Puppy including Michael League, Bob Lanzetti, Justin Stanton, Keita Ogawa, Nate Worth and others. The CD will be released only in Japan. Japan pre-release.
