Peter Dijkstra, who led the vocal ensemble \"Gents\" and was even considered \"one of the finest little choirs in the whole wide world\" at the time, was appointed music director at the age of only 26 and was applauded by the fans. This album was recorded during the anniversary year of his appointment, and features a rather ambitious repertoire. (Although he also played Duruflé, Messiaen, Poulenc, etc. on an album (OEHMS\/OC 540) recorded the same year and already released!) ) His deftness in putting together the ensemble is nothing short of astonishing.The flexibility of the Bavarian Radio Choir, which is open to both ancient and contemporary works of any kind, makes one anticipate further development in the future. ［Comment courtesy of Naxos Japan.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BR Klassik","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46001679204641,"sku":"4562240272419","price":3090.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4562240272419.jpg?v=1690878312","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4562240272419","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
