He has recorded with many famous players in the U.S., but is one of the few players in Japan. I have known him for a long time, and he was one of the players I had wanted to record for a long time. Fortunately, in May 1981, Terry Gibbs showed up at the studio of \"Hollywood Jam,\" which was recorded with Shelleyman as the leader, and I immediately proposed a recording project, which was realized. Gibbs, who is famous for his sharp vibe playing, accepted the proposal with open arms, and he decided on all the music selections, which led to the recording in Hollywood in January 1982.
