In this work, taking J.S. Bach’s *Goldberg Variations*—a piece as vast and intricate as a matryoshka doll—as a starting point, Minashiko explores the unique characteristics and possibilities of various keyboard instruments. While drawing out the unique charm and expressive power of each instrument to the fullest, everything ultimately returns to the unshakable identity of the original work.\nHowever, the “synthesis” in this work does not refer solely to instruments.\nWhat kind of music do people encounter? What moves their hearts? And how do they shape their own musical sensibilities?\nThe Showa era was overflowing with music that stirred people’s hearts. Countless pieces of music were etched into the very flesh and blood, the cells, and the deepest recesses of the memories of those who lived through that time. Sounds heard in everyday life; sounds remembered alongside landscapes encountered on journeys; voices and resonances that lingered in the heart from encounters with others. These countless waves of sound and vibrations in the air accumulate, shaping each person’s musical perspective and sensibility, and emerging as that person’s unique individuality.\nWhen you look at a person through the lens of music, you begin to see “who they truly are.” That is precisely what makes it so fascinating.\nWhat is the culmination of the musical elements within a single person? What has nurtured and shaped that sensibility? This work is an attempt to delve into the inner worlds of musicians who lived through the Showa era, to uncover the components that make up their music, and to bring to light the source of the sensibilities cultivated over time.\nA musical journey experienced through the diverse sounds of keyboard instruments.\nUnlike modern synthesizers that synthesize sounds using DAWs and computers, this is another form of “synthesis”—woven from the countless sounds, memories, experiences, and instruments encountered throughout a lifetime.\nIt is, in essence, Mizuko Tsukatani’s unique *Goldberg Variations*, composed of the countless sounds that have colored her life.\n(1\/2)\nPOOH'SHOOP\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Pooh's Hoop","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53510709412129,"sku":"4560455651166","price":3190.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4560455651166.jpg?v=1789474472","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4560455651166","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
