Prizewinner at the 3rd All Japan Soloist Contest.\nAfter completing her graduate studies she went to Germany, studying with Professor Arnulf von Arnim at the Dortmund campus of the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and graduating with distinction in 1998. She then entered the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, where she studied with Professor Roberto Szidon — the Brazilian pianist admired by Claudio Arrau and Artur Rubinstein — graduating in 2000 with the Konzertexamen. She returned to Japan in 2001 after concert activity in Germany.\nIn 2002 she appeared in the young artists' concert of the 4th Argerich Music Festival Beppu. In 2011 she gave a solo recital and performed Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 1 at the Perugia Music Festival in Italy.\nIn January 2012 she received a special prize at the 3rd Concorso MusicArte organised by the Japan-Italy Association. In April 2012 she was a prizewinner at the American Protégé International Competition 2012 and appeared in the winners' concert at Carnegie Hall. In July 2012 she won the top prize and the Ravel Special Prize at the 22nd Ibla International Music Competition in Italy. In October 2012 she received the Avenir Prize at the 13th Osaka International Music Competition.\nIn 2013 she passed the audition for the recommended artists' concert of the Kyushu branch of the Chopin Society of Japan and appeared in that concert.\nIn 2014 she was selected for the Chopin Society of Japan's Pause series (2015–2016 seasons), and a solo recital at the Kawai Omotesando concert salon \"Pause\" was scheduled for June 2016.\nIn 2015 she was invited to the 4th Evmelia International Music Festival in Volos, Greece.
