In Japan, he founded the Kirishima International Music Festival, made guest appearances with renowned orchestras, and served as a visiting professor at the Tokyo University of the Arts, making significant contributions to the Japanese music scene. This CD features live recordings from the regular concerts of the Kobe City Chamber Orchestra, where he served as principal conductor and music director from 1998 until his passing in 2012. Established by the City of Kobe in 1981, the ensemble was formed by highly skilled string players and grew to become one of Japan’s leading chamber orchestras.\n\n“In the two symphonies included on this album, as I listen to the vitality that pulses vividly within a solid structure where not a single note or stroke wavers, I keenly feel the weight of the tradition that flows through Mr. Bosse’s veins, while at the same time being drawn in by the passion of his musical spirit, which constantly breathes new life into it.
