NHK Taiga Drama has a long tradition of more than half a century and has gained a large number of fans. The opening theme songs for these dramas are composed by eminent Japanese composers, and each of them is a masterpiece that leaves a strong impression. This album is a collection of all 61 NHK Taiga Dramas on CD, from the memorable "Hana no Jinsei" (The Life of Hana) broadcast in 1963 to the latest "Kamakura-dono no 13-nin" (The Thirteen in Kamakura-dono) broadcast in 2022. The NHK Symphony Orchestra is in charge of the performances, with the orchestra's music director and chief conductor, as well as other renowned Japanese conductors, taking the baton, and featuring guest artists from the world of Japanese music and other world-renowned artists. The calligraphy on the jacket was newly written by Shoko Kanazawa, a soulful calligrapher who also wrote the title of the 51st drama "Taira no Kiyomori," and powerfully expresses the dynamic world of the Taiga drama. Includes a 68-page commentary on all the dramas. This is the latest edition of the 2021 series for all Taiga drama fans.
